◆Lightweight and strong, suitable for panel core materials: It combines moderate lightweight and strength, making it optimal as a material for various panel cores. ◆Light and easy to handle: The density of BT board is 0.24–0.25 g/cm³. It weighs approximately 4 kg (10 mm) to about 7 kg (15 mm) for a 3x6 foot size, making it lightweight (specifications for typical products are noted for 10 mm and 15 mm). ◆Excellent thermal insulation: The structure, which contains many air layers due to intertwined wood fibers, excels in thermal insulation (thermal conductivity below 0.047–0.052 W/m·K). When used as a panel core material, it is expected to provide thermal insulation benefits. ◆Excellent cutability: Can be cut with a circular saw or board cutter. ◆Human-friendly: Exempt from formaldehyde notification requirements. ◆100% recycled or unused wood used in the wood components: It uses construction demolition materials and recycled/unused wood from sawmills as raw materials, qualifying as an environmentally friendly product under the "Green Purchasing Law designated procurement items" and "Eco Mark products." ◆Typical applications include construction protective materials, cushioning and packaging materials, tatami flooring materials, fire starter substrates, air freshener cores, partition cores, whiteboard cores, ironing board cores, substrate materials (for roofs, walls, etc.), and emergency shelter partition boards. ◆Typical product thicknesses are 6 mm, 9 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm, and 15 mm.
